Note
Do not use safety handle or upper body exerciser as standing aid.
Do not use THERA-Trainer in wet, humid or hot environments.
Do not smoke while exercising.
Exercise exclusively with THERA-Trainer, if THERA-Trainer was started
with the START button.
Make sure that no liquids get into THERA-Trainer.
Make sure that the THERA-Trainer or the chair/wheelchair do not slip while
exercising.
Use exclusively cleaning agents and disinfectants approved by the manufacturer.
Make sure that THERA-Trainer does not get wet.
Use exclusively the manufacturer's original parts.
Use THERA-Trainer exclusively in good and functional condition.
Make sure to run power supply cable in such a way that there is no risk
of strangulation.
Use THERA-Trainer exclusively with correctly set supply voltage.
Pull power plug after every training session.
Exercise exclusively when THERA-Trainer is switched on.
Leave THERA-Trainer at room temperature for 1 hour before using it for
the first time.
Make sure that helix cable of the control and display unit tigo/veho 2.7"
wireless does not get tangled in the cranks.
Use exclusively power plug supplied by the manufacturer.
Use USB interface exclusively with options (USB stick, wireless receiver)
approved by the manufacturer.
3 INTENDED USE
The THERA-Trainer is a therapy device for improving the mobility of persons
whose mobility is limited.
Note The THERA-Trainer veho is a training device for exercising the upper body only.
The THERA-Trainer tigo is a training device for exercising the legs or upper body.
The THERA-Trainer is suitable:
as an exerciser for the legs or the upper body.
for passive (motor-supported) and active (with muscle power) movement
training, and for active and passive muscle training in combination.
for use at home, in hospitals, nursing homes and therapy facilities.
for users whose height is between 120 and 200 cm (depending on clinical
picture, type of handicap, and the type of wheelchair or chair used for the
training).
for users whose body weight is less than - see chapter 19 technical data.
Note The THERA-Trainer is a medical device according to the medical devices directive.
The intended use includes the treatment of the device as a medical device.
