Explanation of display units
Display
stand-by mode
If no button of THERA-Trainer has been pressed for more than 10 minutes,
– the screen light of control and display unit switches off.
– red LED 1 lights up.
Press any button to switch THERA-Trainer to operating mode.
After a self-test, THERA-Trainer is ready for use.
Symmetry
display
Symmetry display:
– divided into three colour areas (green, yellow, red)
– one bar means 5% asymmetry
– direction triangle indicates the side that must be more active.
Symmetry display appears exclusively during leg exercise.
Training
parameters
display
The display of training parameters alternates during a training session:
Approximately every 5 seconds. The following training parameters are
displayed:
– number of revolutions (rpm)
– power (watt)
– energy consumption (kcal)
– distance (km)
– remaining training time
Press START button: Automatic change of training parameters deactivated.
– The currently shown training parameter is displayed (unit of the training
parameter flashes).
Display spasm
detection
Shows currently set step of spasm detection
Have spasm detection set in sub menu by doctor, therapist or trained supplier.
Display Spasticity
ON/OFF
Spasm detection active: Red spasm symbol lights up.
Spasm detection inactive: No symbol is displayed.
NoteEven when the spasm detection function is deactivated, it will detect extreme
changes of movement (blocking of cranks, extreme power fluctuations). For safety
reasons, if an extreme change is detected it will be treated like a spasm.
