The GapGun Pro Wi-Fi adapter can be used to communicate with any IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n access points using
either 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz bands subject to local country restrictions.
The Wi-Fi adapter IP addresses are configured in a similar way to the LAN adapter.
Where both LAN and Wi-Fi adapters are to be used different IP addresses must be used for each adapter, it is
recommended that Wi-Fi adapter uses the IP address 10.10.10.2 with the subnet mask 255.0.0.0 and, where
necessary, the PC Wi-Fi adapter can be set to use the IP address 10.10.10.254.
If connecting to a company Wi-Fi network, contact your Network Manager for details of how to connect to your
company’s network.
The Wi-Fi Connections list shows all the Access Points which are within range of the GapGun, if the Access Point
required is not displayed it may appear after a short wait; it may be out of range; it may be broadcasting on an
unsupported frequency , the Wi-Fi region may need to be changed in the GapGun Support Menu; it may not be
broadcasting an SSID, the GapGun cannot connect in this case.
Tap to select an Access Point, connection details should be configured as detailed in the next section then tap
Connect…
When the connection is successful, the Wi-Fi icon will appear in the top right corner of the display. The dark blue
bars indicate the strength of Access Point signal. A very weak signal will cause slow speed communication.
To stop the GapGun connecting to an Access Point tap the

option.
