8.5 Declaration of Conformity to EMC
The OA-2000 belongs to Group 1 and B equipment in accordance with
IEC/EN60601-1-2.
The OA-2000 is a group 1, class B product according to EN55011(CISPR11).
This means that the OA-2000 does not generate and/or use intentionally
ratio-frequency energy, in the form of electromagnetic radiation, inductive
and/or capacitive coupling, for the treatment of material or
inspection/analysis purpose and that it is suitable for use in domestic
establishments and in establishments directly connected to a low voltage
power supply network which supplies buildings used for domestic
purposes.
The OA-2000 requires special precautions regarding EMC and need to be
installed, put into service and used according to the following information.
Do not use any cables other than the cables that provided or specified by
Tomey.
The use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified,
with the exception of transducers and cables sold by Tomey as
replacement parts for internal components, may result in increased
EMMISSIONS or decreased IMMUNITY of the OA-2000.
Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect the OA-2000.
The OA-2000 should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other
equipment and if adjacent or stacked use is necessary, the OA-2000 should
be observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will
be used.
Anyone who connects additional equipment to the signal input/output parts,
configuration a medical system, is responsible that the system complies
with the requirements of IEC/EN60601-1-2.
