8.2.1 Influences of ultrasound energy on the human body


 SP-100 Pachymeter is exclusively designed and built for ophthalmic use.
Do not use the instrument for any purposes other than ophthalmic use.
SP-100 Pachymeter, exclusively designed and built for ophthalmic
pachymeter purpose, is set at very weak ultrasound energy ap-
propriate for ophthalmic application. Minutes care should be taken
not to cause the Patient to be excessively exposed with ultra-
sound energy while measurement.

fc : the center frequency
Zsp : the axial distance at which the reported parameter is measured.
x-6, y-6 : are respectively the in-plane(azimuthal) and out of plane(elevational)
-6dB dimensions in the x-y plane where Zsp is found
