straineraredamaged.
3.Cleanthefuelstrainerinfreshgasolineorkerosene.
4.Threadthefuelstrainerintothefueltank(Figure67).
5.Torquethefuelstrainerto3.0to4.0N∙m(2.2to2.9
ft-lb).
6.Alignthefuelhosethatyouremovedinstep1overthe
ttingonthefuelstrainer(Figure67andFigure69).
7.Securethehosetothestrainerttingwiththeclamp
(Figure67andFigure69).
InstallingtheFuelTank
1.Applymedium-gradethread-lockingcompoundtothe
8mmstudsinthefueltankandthe2bolts6x25mm.
2.Alignthefueltanktothetanksupportsontheengine
(Figure67).
3.Alignthefuelhosethatyouremovedinstep6of
RemovingtheFuelTank(page53)tothettingonthe
carburetor(Figure68andFigure69).
4.Securethehosetothecarburetorttingwiththeclamp
(Figure68).
5.Assemblethetanktothetanksupportsontheengine
withthe2bolts6x25mmand2nuts8mm(Figure
67).
6.Torquethe6mmboltsto945to1171N∙m(86to106
in-lb).
7.Handtightenthesedimentcupintothecarburetor.
