Greasing the Boom Hinges
Important: If the boom hinge is w ashed
with w ater , all w ater and de bris must be
clear ed fr om the hinge assembl y and fr esh
g r ease must be applied.
Grease T ype: No . 2 g eneral-pur pose lithium base
g rease .
1. Wipe the g rease fittings clean so that foreign
matter cannot be forced into the bearing or
bushing .
2. Pump g rease into the bearing or bushing at
eac h fitting Figure 43 .
