Greasing the Actuator Rod
Bearings
Grease the bearing end of the both boom actuator
rods at 400 hours and/or yearly .
Grease T ype: No . 2 g eneral-pur pose lithium base
g rease .
1. Extend the booms to the spra y position.
2. R emo v e the cotter pin from the pi v ot pin
( Figure 44 ).

3. Lift up on the boom and remo v e the pin
( Figure 44 ). Slo wly lo w er the boom to the
g round.
4. Inspect the pin for any damag e , re place if
necessar y .
5. Manipulate the actuator rod bearing end and
apply g rease into the bearing ( Figure 45 ). Wipe
off ex cess g rease .
