Set Date Format
Step 1 – While in the PREFERENCES menu, use the Up or Down arrows to navigate to DATE FORMAT. Press SELECT .
Step 2 – Use the Up or Down arrowstoselectMonth/Day/Year(MM/DD/YY)(default)orDay/Month/Year(DD/MM/YY)format.
Press SELECT .
Step 3 – Press the BACK arrow to return to the previous menu or HOME to return to the main screen.
Set the Beginning of the Week
Step 1 – While in the PREFERENCES menu, use the Up or Down arrows to navigate to BEGIN WEEK. Press SELECT .
Step 2 – Use the Up or Down arrowstoselectSUNDAY(default)orMONDAYasyourstartingpointoftheweek.PressSELECT .
Step 3 – Press the BACK arrow to return to the previous menu or HOME to return to the main screen.
Setting the Remote and PIN Number
In order for the Evolution controller to communicate with Toro Gateway, a Smart Connect must be installed into the controller.
To communicate with Gateway, the Evolution controller utilize a 4-digit PIN to identify itself and the Gateway it wants to communicate. All Evolution control-
lersaresetwith0000PINatthefactory.ItisnecessarytosetadierentPINinorderdistinguishyourdevicefromotherEvolutioninthevicinity.
Changing the Evolution controller’s REMOTE PIN - Navigate to ADVANCED and scroll down to ADD/REMOVE DEVICE. Scroll down to REMOTE and
press SELECT . Use the Up or Down arrows to set a 4-digit remote PIN.
Changing the SMRTScape PIN number - Log-in to your SMRTScape.com account. Access your controller screen and change the PIN# to the same
4-digit remote PIN set in the Evolution controller.
