brake,shutofftheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Loosenthetineholderboltsandremovethe
oldtine(s).
4.Insertthenewtine(s)intothetineholder.
5.Torquethetineholderboltsto40.6N∙m(30ft-lb).
6.Ifneeded,repeatthisprocedureonthe
remainingarms.
CheckingtheTine
Ground-HeightCalibration
Usethegroundheightcalibrationrecallapplicationto
quicklycheckthecurrenttinegroundheight.
PreparingtheMachine
1.Ensurethatthecoringheadisraised.
2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,fullyraise
andlatchthehandlebartoengagetheparking
brake,shutofftheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Removethecoring-headcover;referto
RemovingtheCoring-HeadCover(page68).
4.Rotatecoring-headpulley(Figure112)until
theoutermosttinesarealignedclosesttothe
ground.
Important:Keepyourngersawayofthe
areawherethebeltmergesanddepartsthe
pulleysothatyoudonotpinchyourngers.
