Withtheweighttransferadjusted,itispossibleto
aerateturfthatishardenoughgroundcausethe
machinetoliftthereartiresofftheground.Thismay
leadtoirregularholespacing.
Ifthisliftingoccurs,youcanaddoptional
counterweightplatestotherearframeaxletube.
Eachcounterweightplateadds28.5kg(63lb)tothe
machine.Youcanaddupto2plates.Refertothe
PartsCatalogofyourmachineforthecounterweight
andhardwarepartnumbers.

Requiredtools:15mmsocketandsocketwrench
Important:Donotoperatetheenginewiththe
bypassvalveopenformorethan10to15seconds.
1.Ifpossible,parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Fullyraiseandlatchthehandlebartoengage
theparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,remove
thekey,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Removethe2angeheadboltsthatsecurethe
storagebintothebinbracket(Figure125).
