General Information
The electrical system operates on 12 VDC. The proper battery size is 300 CCA.
Before performing any electrical troubleshooting, always:
• V erify proper battery voltage (above 12.4V), batteries reading 12.4V or less
are considered discharged.
• Check that all engine and chassis ground wires are securely connected and
not damaged.
Use of test lights and continuity testers may result in false readings and lead to
an incorrect diagnosis. Use a digital volt ohm meter is necessary for accurate
testing.
