6. Remove the belt from the center spindle pulley .

7. Using a 1/2 inch wrench and a 9/16 inch socket, remove the (5/16 inch) belt
guide shoulder bolt and (3/8 inch) nut from the deck belt tensioner to free the
deck belt from the assembly . Remove the deck belt.
