Throttle Assembly Replacement
Throttle Assembly Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PT O. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key . Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable rst, then the positive
cable from the battery .
3. Remove the control panel. Refer to Control Panel Removal ( page 8– 9 ) .
4. Unscrew the top ball knob from the throttle assembly .
5. Using a 3/8 inch socket, remove the 2 (#10) nuts securing the throttle
assembly to the control panel. Remove the throttle assembly .
Throttle Assembly Installation
1. Install the throttle assembly . Using a 3/8 inch socket, install the 2 (#10) nuts
to secure the throttle assembly to the control panel.
2. Screw the top ball knob to the throttle assembly .
3. Install the control panel Control Panel Installation ( page 8– 12 ) .
4. Connect the battery by installing the positive cable rst, then the negative
cable to the battery .
Choke Cable Replacement
Choke Cable Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PT O. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key . Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable rst, then the positive
cable from the battery .
3. Remove the control panel. Refer to Control Panel Removal ( page 8– 9 ) .
4. Using a 9/16 inch wrench, remove the (3/8 inch) nut to release the choke
cable from the control panel. Remove the choke cable.
Choke Cable Installation
1. Install the choke cable. Using a 9/16 inch wrench, install the (3/8 inch) nut to
secure the choke cable to the control panel.
2. Install the control panel. Refer to Control Panel Installation ( page 8– 12 ) .
3. Connect the battery by installing the positive cable rst, then the negative
cable to the battery .
Caster Fork and Bearing Replacement
Caster Fork and Bearing Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PT O. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key . Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable rst, then the positive
cable from the battery .
3. Raise and support the machine so that the front wheels are of f the ground.
4. Remove the caster cap.
