Deck Belt Replacement
Deck Belt Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PT O. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key . Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable rst, then the positive
cable from the battery .
3. Lift and pull out the oor pan assembly from the machine.

4. Lift and remove the LH and RH deck belt guards.

5. Using a 3/8 inch breaker bar , pull the idler arm clockwise to relieve tension
on the spring.
