Rocking Start
Program Special Special Parameters
This parameter setting is used when starting a large load very slowly is
required.
An on/off 20 Hz output signal is applied to the motor for the duration of 0.5
seconds times the number setting of this parameter (i.e., setting 3 = 1.5 seconds
of 20 Hz on/off output signal).
Upon completion of the Rocking Start the programmed acceleration rate
resumes.

Over-Heat Stall
Program Protection Stall
This parameter enables the Over-Heat Stall function. This feature is used to
allow the ASD to reduce the output frequency from the programmed rate in an
attempt to preclude an over-heat trip.
Note: This parameter setting may increase deceleration times.

Baud Rate (TTL)
Program Communications Communication Settings
This parameter plays a role in the setup of the communications network by
establishing the Baud Rate of the TTL communications link.
The communications network includes other ASDs and Host/Control computers
that monitor the status of the ASD(s), transfers commands, and loads or
modifies the parameter settings of the ASD.
Changes made to this parameter require that the power be cycled (off then on)
for the changes to take effect.
