6. Earthing
This chapter explains the earthing of PCS-DS, OIS-DS and SVR-DS.
Earthing of PCS-DS
With the PCS-DS system, the earthing terminals of the cubicles, consoles, and line filters,
earthing terminals of I/O power supply, etc., and shields of the external signal cables are earthed
en bloc to the earthing terminals in the power receiving & distributing unit or of the peripheral
equipment.
WARNING
They must be earthed to prevent noise and electric shock of operators and maintenance
personnel.
