Air-Conditioning Equipment

The ambient temperature greatly affects the reliability of equipment and residentiality of
operators. Also, there is a fear of increasing measuring error. In order to obtain a better
installation environment, the installation of air-conditioning equipment is recommended.

If PCS-DS51 is distributed and installed in a local unmanned control room, due attention must
be paid to temperature and humidity, and in some cases, a ventilating fan of air exhausting type
should be installed.
Plug Socket for Maintenance
Although the PCS-DS51 has the plug socket for maintenance tool (T-series laptop or notebook
size personal computer), ordinary plug sockets should be separately provided for measuring
instruments and vacuum cleaner.
Fire Extinguishing Equipment
Electrical fire extinguisher (carbon dioxide fire extinguisher) or halogen fire extinguisher should
be installed. Water, foam, and powder fire extinguishers should be avoided.

Table 1.1 shows the temperature and humidity conditions for PCS-DS51 system. When the
actual condition is severer than examples below, follow its value.
