Outline of Network Components
Since the 100M-Ethernet control LAN is compliant with the IEEE802.3u specification, the
network is configured centered on a hub (concentrator) as shown in Figure A.3 in accordance
with this IEEE802.3u specification. At this time, any station should not pass through more than
one path.
Optical fiber is used for connection when the transmission distance is long, or for connection
between buildings or between cabinets.
