2. Wiring of PCS-DS51
60
Isolation of wiring
Place the serial bus cable more than 2 meters away from power supply lines or devices that
generate electromagnetic fields. When the distance of more than 2 meters is difficult to obtain,
check the actual voltage and current of the inductor and refer to Table 2.7.
The inductor should be less than 440V-100A.
Table 2.7 Recommended Minimum Distance of Separation
Inductor Minimum distance between parallel lines
Current/Voltage 100A Up to 100A or less 50A or less 10A or less
440V Up to 2000mm 2000mm 2000mm 2000mm
440V or less 2000mm 600mm 600mm 600mm
220V or less 2000mm 600mm 600mm 500mm
110V or less 2000mm 600mm 500mm 300mm
60V or less 2000mm 500mm 300mm 150mm
Considering the noise immunity, use a metal cable duct with lid or steel protection duct. Table
2.8 lists the recommended minimum distances of separation for the signal line and power supply
line in case of the parallel wiring.

Metal Duct Work)
