OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEMS

system—The light does not come on
when the engine swit ch is s et at the
“ON” position or remains on f or more
than 6 seconds.
D Vehicl es with smart ent ry and star t
system—The light does not come on
when t he “ENGINE START STOP”
switch is set at IGNITION ON mode or
remains on for more than 6 sec onds.
D The light comes on while dri ving.
In the f ollowi ng cases, c ontact any aut ho-
riz ed Toyot a dealer or repairer, or anot her
duly quali fied and equipped pr ofess ional,
as soon as poss ible:
D The SRS front airbags hav e been in-
flat ed.
D The front of the vehic le (s haded in the
illustration) was inv olved in an acc ident
that was not s evere enough to caus e
the SRS front airbags t o inflate.
D The pad s ecti on of t he st eering wheel,
lower porti on of i nstr ument panel or
dashboard (shaded in the illustration) is
scr atched, c rack ed, or otherwi se dam-
aged.
