LIGHTS, WIPERS AND DEFOGGER
ILLUMINATIONS OF ENTRY FUNCTI ON
(vehicles with smart ent ry and start
system)
The inter ior light, per sonal lights and foot
lights come on and remain on f or about
15 seconds when you c arry the regi ster ed
key into the entry f unction act uation area.

To tur n on the windshi eld wiper s, move
the lever to the desir ed setting.
Vehicles without s mart entr y and start sy s-
tem—The engine swi tch must be s et at
the “ON” posit ion.
Vehicles with smar t entr y and star t sys-
tem—The “ENGINE START STOP” swit ch
must be set at IGNITIO N ON m ode.

For a singl e sweep of the windshi eld,
push the lever up and releas e it.
The band l ets you adj ust the wi ping t ime
interv al when the wiper lev er is in t he
intermittent position (position 1). Twist the
band upward to dec rease t he time be-
tween sweeps , or downward to increas e
the time between sweeps .
To squirt washer flui d, pull t he lever
toward you.
If the winds hield wipers are off, they wil l
operate a couple of ti mes after the washer
squir ts.
