The double locking system is a theft
preventi on system. On vehicles wi th t he
double l ocking syst em, t here are labels
on t he f ront side windows t o i ndicate
the vehicle is equipped with this sys-
tem. The syst em is set when you lock
all the door s using wireless remot e
control . Once set, t he double locking
system prevents the door s fr om bei ng
unlocked eit her fr om i nside or outside
of the vehicle.
CAUTION
Never activat e t he double locking
system when there are peopl e in the
vehicle, b ecause all the side doors
and back door cannot be opened from
inside the vehi cle. If l ocking t he
doors by acci dent, push t he unlock
switch of the key.
SETTING THE SYSTEM
1. Vehic les wi thout s mart ent ry and st art
system—Turn the engi ne s witc h to the
“LOCK” posit ion and remove the key.
Vehicles wi th smart entr y and star t
system—Turn off the engine.
2. Hav e all passenger s get out of the
vehic le.
3. Open and clos e the dri ver’s door. Mak e
sure t hat all t he s ide doors and bac k
door are clos ed securel y.
4. Pus h t he l ock swi tch of the k ey TW ICE
within 5 seconds .
The system will not be set unless you
use the lock s witc h of the key.
The tur n signal light s f lash once every
time you push the lock switch.
CANCELLING THE SYSTEM
Push the unlock s witch of the key.
The t urn signal li ghts f lash twi ce to show
the system is cancelled.
Double locki ng c an be canc elled by a key
if the key bat tery i s dead.
