TESTING THE SYSTEM
1. Open all the windows .
2. Set the system as described above.
3. Try t o unloc k all the door s f rom the
insi de.
The loc king k nob s hould ret urn t o the
lock pos iti on.
4. Pus h the unl ock switc h of the key and
check if the system is cancelled.
If the system does not work properly,
have it c hecked by any authori zed Toyot a
dealer or repair er, or another duly quali-
fied and equipped profess ional.
The smar t entry and start system con-
sists mainl y of the fo llowing funct ions.

maintain a reasonable distance be-
tween t hemselves and the smart
entry and start system antennas.

affect the operati on of such de-
vices. I f necessary, the ent ry func-
tion can be disabled. Ask any au-
thori zed Toyota dealer or repairer,
or another duly qualif ied and
equipped professi onal for details,
such as t he frequency of r adio
waves and timi ng of emi tting t he
radio waves. Then, consult your
doctor to see i f you shoul d disable
the entry functi on.
