−40_C(−40_F) up to 50_C (122_F).
Vehicles without s mart entr y and start sy s-
tem—The engine swi tch must be s et at
the “ON” posit ion.
Vehicles with smar t entr y and star t sys-
tem—The “ENGINE START STOP” swit ch
must be set at IGNITIO N ON m ode.
If an abnor malit y exis ts in the connect ion
of the outs ide air temperatur e sensor,
“−−_C” wi ll appear on t he di splay. If
“−−_C” appears on the dis play, c ontact
any aut horiz ed Toy ota deal er or repair er,
or another duly qual ifi ed and equipped
profes sional .

tem—If the out side temper ature fal ls below
3_C(37_F) whil e dr ivi ng, t he temper ature
displ ay w ill flas h a few ti mes t o infor m t he
driv er of the need for cauti on due t o ice
on the road res ulting f rom the low temper-
ature. However, if the temper ature is al-
ready 3_C(37_F) or below, the displ ay
does not flas h when the engi ne sw itc h is
turned to the “ON” posi tion.
