6. From the opposite side of the housing, use an appro-
priate sized bearing driver to press the bearing out of
the housing.

Assembling Input Shaft
1. Using an appropriate sized bearing driver, press a
new bearing into the input shaft housing. Secure the
bearing with the existing snap ring, making sure the
sharp edge of the snap ring faces toward the outside.

2. Install the input shaft seal, making sure it is fully
seated in the housing.

3. Grease the seal; then inspect and clean the sealing
surface of the input shaft. Insert the input shaft into
the bearing and secure with the snap ring.
