Refrigerator:
The cabinet interior should be cleaned regu-
larly. Remove shelves and wash the lining
with lukewarm water to which a mild soap may
be added. Dry thoroughly, especially around
door frame and door gasket. Warm water only
should be used to wash the cooling evapora-
tor, ice trays and shelves. Never use strong
chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials on
any part of the cabinet. See manufacturer's
information.
12.
Power Range Hood:
The fi lter on your power range hood should be
removed, washed with detergent and hot wa-
ter, rinsed and replaced after each trip. Before
replacing the fi lter, wash the grease and col-
lected dust from the inside hood surfaces with
a damp cloth.

Range/Oven (option):
a.
General:
Regular cleaning with a warm detergent
solution and soft cloth will keep your range
looking bright and new. This should be
done as soon as range cools.
b.
Oven Interior:
Clean as soon as possible after use when
the oven is cool. Grease spatters that are
allowed to become hard and baked on be-
come very diffi cult to remove. Care must
be taken to avoid bending the thermal
sensing element, which could cause a vari-
ation between the oven temperature and
the dial setting. If oven cleaners are used,
protect aluminum gas tubing, thermostat
sensing element and electrical compo-
nents from the cleaners. Thoroughly rinse
oven with a solution of one tablespoon
vinegar to one cup of water and wipe dry.
c.
Top Burners:
Top burners (caps and grates) may be
cleaned with a detergent solution. If any
burner port should become clogged, clean
with a toothpick. Never use pins or other
metal objects to clean the ports, as they
may become enlarged.
14.
Micro/Convection Oven:
Consult owners manuals for detailed instruc-
tions. Keep the door and inside of your micro-
wave oven clean. No grease, soil or spatter
should be allowed to build up. A build up of
soil will absorb microwave energy, just the
same as the food you are cooking and may
increase the cooking time.
a. When food spatters or spilled liquids ad-
here to walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild
detergents may be used if the oven gets
very dirty. The use of harsh detergents or
abrasives is not recommended.
b. The outside oven surface should be
cleaned with soap and water, rinsed and
dried with a soft cloth. To prevent dam-
age to the operating parts inside the oven,
water should not be allowed to seep into
the ventilation openings.
c. If the control panel becomes wet, clean
with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh
detergents or abrasives on control panel.
When cleaning the control panel, leave the
oven door open to prevent oven from ac-
cidentally turning on. After cleaning touch
cancel pad to clear display window.
d. It is necessary to remove the glass tray for
cleaning. Wash the tray in warm sudsy
water or in a dishwasher.
e. The roller ring and oven cavity fl oor should
be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive
noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface
of the oven with mild detergent water or
window cleaner and dry. The roller ring
may be washed in mild sudsy water or
dishwasher. When removing the roller ring
from cavity fl oor for cleaning, be sure to
replace it in the proper position.
