EXHAUST LEAKS
Leaks in the exhaust system are annoying and somewhat
dangerous. The smoke emitted from any furnace contains many
noxious gases that are unsafe to breathe over an extended
period.
When the unit is set up properly, there should not be any
exhaust smell in its vicinity.
Check frequently to see if there are leaks at the connections in
the hood exhaust duct and seal them with metal duct tape.
