BASIC WIRING REQUIREMENTS
On new installations the System Network should be a 6 pair CW1308 BT spec cable, on sites with existing cabling a
minimum of 5 twisted pairs are required. An additional 10 pair bus is required for the Door Entry Network.
A Cat5e cable (max distance 100 metres) is required between the Ethernet switch and each Manager’s panel, RJ45
wall sockets and patch leads are provided to terminate the Cat5e cable.
