Video
The Video menu enables you to make changes to the Video Settings on the Set Top Box.
This is especially useful if you decide to connect your Set Top Box to a different television or
monitor. Within this menu you have access to:
• Resolution,
• Screen Ratio, and
• Display Format.
Audio
The Audio menu allows you to edit your audio settings. These settings are essential if
additional audio equipment is added to your system. Always ensure you choose the audio
options that are compatible with your television. Broadcaster content or your television
capability may adversely affect the sound quality of Dolby Digital programs.
Within this menu you have access to:
• SPDIF Digital Audio Output,
• HDMI Digital Audio Output, and
• SPDIF Audio Delay.
SUBTITLES ON/OFF: Select whether subtitles are ON or OFF by default. Subtitles can
also be activated by the Remote Control, by pressing the SUB button.
TIME ZONE: You can set the Time Zone according to the Australian States and Territories.
BANNER DISPLAY DURATION: Set the duration of time in which on-screen banners are
displayed. This can be set between 1sec to 29sec.
VIRTUAL KEYBOARD DEFAULT: The Virtual Keyboard Default feature allows you to choose
between what on screen keyboard is displayed initially. This setting by default is ON, which
presents the QWERTY keyboard. When this setting is OFF the T9 Input (Alphanumeric Keypad
on RCU) is the initial keyboard input.
LANGUAGES: This feature allows you to set your 1

AUDIO LANGUAGE preference.
The broadcaster must provide the audio in your preferred language, otherwise the
audio will default to English. Below is the full list of languages on the STB.
