Ver-Mac 2018 V-Touch TLD User's Manual – V3.2 4
1.3 V-Touch Controller
The V-Touch controller is a compact microcomputer using a LCD touchscreen that
displays in English, French or Spanish (user’s choice). The touchscreen controller
provides access to all operations and functions of the TLD unit and the signalization
system for the intersection, according to the limitations of their user profile.
1.4 Using a Touchscreen
Tap the icons on the screen with your fingertip or use a soft stylus-like instrument like
the eraser tip of a lead pencil to activate the functions of the V-Touch Controller.
Never use sharp pointed plastic, and certainly not a metal object.
Remove any smudges and fingerprints with a soft cloth.
1.5 Touchscreen Sleep Mode
If there is no touchscreen activity for approximately 5 minutes, the V-Touch Controller
goes into sleep mode to maintain power and restores password security.
To continue to use the unit, touch anywhere on the screen and log in again.
