F.134 Communication error, inverter
F.134
System characteristics
Normal operation
Cause
Communication error, inverter
Measures
1. Check the CAN bus connections on the inverter and
at X12 on the VCMU refrigerant circuit controller:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
■
Shielding must be connected to CAN Ground
(GND).
■
Check cable type: Li2YCYv, twisted pair, shielded
or 2-core CAT5, shielded
■
Check cable length.
■
Check CAN L/CAN H assignment.
■
Check the position and number of terminators.
2. Replace the CAN bus cable between the inverter
and the VCMU refrigerant circuit controller.
3. Check the configuration of the inverter (parameters).
4. Isolate the outdoor unit from the power supply. Wait
at least 2 min. Switch on voltage again.
F.147 Lead break, suction gas temperature sensor, compressor
F.147
System characteristics
Refrigerant circuit off
Cause
Lead break, compressor suction gas temperature sen-
sor
Measures
1. Check connection X14.7/X14.8 on the VCMU refrig-
erant circuit controller:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
2. Check resistor R for NTC 10 kΩ on the disconnected
plug. If R > 300 kΩ, replace the sensor.
3. Replace VCMU refrigerant circuit controller.
F.148 Short circuit, suction gas temperature sensor, compressor
F.148
System characteristics
Refrigerant circuit off
Cause
Short circuit, compressor suction gas temperature sen-
sor
Measures
1. Check the sensor and connection X14.7/X14.8 on
the VCMU refrigerant circuit controller:
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
2. Check resistor R for NTC 10 kΩ on the disconnected
plug. If R < 500 Ω, replace the sensor.
3. Replace VCMU refrigerant circuit controller.
