Measures
1. Replace CR2032 battery in HPMU electronics mod-
ule.
2. Set the time on the HMI programming unit: See
operating instructions.

Operation with internal set value specifications of the
heat pump control unit
Cause
Gateway (WAGO KNX/TP) communication error
Measures
1. Check system configuration for gateway: CAN bus
subscriber number 90
2. Turn off the ON/OFF switch on the indoor unit. Wait
at least 2 min. Turn on the ON/OFF switch.
3. Check the CAN bus connections:
■
Connections X8.1 to X8.3 on plug 91 on
the HPMU electronics module
■
Wall mounted indoor unit:
Connection on device underside, 6-pole connec-
tion socket on the left, terminals 1.CAN L to
3.CAN H
Floorstanding indoor unit:
Connection to luster terminals for BUS connec-
tions, terminals 91.CAN L to 91.CAN H
■
Check wires and plugs for correct seating.
■
Check connections for contact corrosion.
■
Check cables for mechanical damage, e.g. crush-
ing, kinking, chafing or breakage.
■
Check CAN L/CAN H assignment.
■
CAN Ground (GND) must not be connected.
■
Check cable type: Li2YCYv, twisted pair, shielded
or 2-core CAT5, shielded
■
Check cable length.
■
Check the position and number of terminators.
4. Replace CAN bus Gateway cable.
5. Check power supply to the gateway.
6. Replace gateway.

Cause
Internal fault on gateway (WAGO KNX/TP)
Measures
1. Check system configuration for gateway: CAN bus
subscriber number 90
2. Turn off the ON/OFF switch on the indoor unit. Wait
at least 2 min. Turn on the ON/OFF switch.
3. Replace gateway.
