TIA Portal - Limitations
Since the VIPA-CPU is configured as CPU 315-2AG10 in the Siemens TIA
Portal, there are limitations with the configuration of the VIPA-CPU, which
are in the following described.
The VIPA specific SFCs are not supported during programming with the
Siemens TIA Portal.
OB 55 "Status interrupt" is not supported by the VIPA-CPU
OB 56 "Update interrupt" is not supported by the VIPA-CPU
OB 81 "Error in power supply" exists in the VIPA-CPU but is not
supported by the Siemens TIA Portal
The phase shift, available for the OB 35 "Watchdog" in the Siemens TIA
Portal, is not evaluated by the VIPA-CPU.
"Plant designation" and "location identifier" in the Siemens TIA Portal are
not supported by the VIPA-CPU.
In contrast to the Siemens CPU 315-2AG10 with a periphery address
area 0 to 2047, the periphery address area of the VIPA-CPU is limited to
0 to 1023. The diagnostic address area is 0 to 2047 and is not limited.
The bit memory (retentive memory) area is limited to 0 to 1023.
