4. Replace the handset, or press ON/OFF (SPEAKER button on IP
Phone) to end the call.
To answer a message waiting indication:
If your MSG button is lit and/or you have an LCD display of
“MSG: XXXX”, you have a message waiting for you. The first message left
is the first one called.
1. Press the MSG button or dial [663]. The station that left message
will be signaled with tone ringing.
2. If the called station does not answer, press the MSG button once if
you want to leave that station a message waiting indication.
SINGLE LINE TELEPHONE
To leave a message waiting indication:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the desired intercom station.
3. If you do not receive an answer, or a DND tone sounds, press
the FLASH button.
4. Dial [623].
5. Hang up.
You have a message waiting for you when: your message waiting
lamp is flashing, or there is an interrupted dial tone when you lift
the handset.
To answer a message waiting indication:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial [663]. The station that left message will ring.
CONDITIONS
» 8-button digital display telephones must use the Soft Key’s MSG
option to leave a message waiting indication and must use [663] to
answer a message waiting indication.
The MSG button on the IP-24DH Phone is labeled MSG/
CALLBK.
