If the scanner has been shut down for more than 3 days, the X-ray tube may require seasoning. Contact
VOTI Support or your supervisor before restarting the XR3D. The administrator can perform the seasoning
using the administrator module.
3.2.3 Emergency stop
To stop the XR3D immediately in case of an emergency:
l Push the emergency stop button.

All power to the conveyor belt and the X-ray generator is cut.
o
A timer appears in the System & Operator Messages pane counting down from 5 seconds and the operator is
logged out of the scanner application. The operator login screen appears on the monitor.
To restore power to the XR3D after an emergency stop:
l Turn the emergency stop button clockwise. The button locking assembly unlocks and extends.
