3.4 Driving the excavator
Preheating start switch
Throttle
On machines with Tier III engines, the throttle 16 controls the engine speed progressively
as follows:
☞ Push throttle 16 upward (A).
➥ Engine speed is reduced.
☞ Push throttle 16 down B.
➥ Engine speed is increased.
On machines with Tier IV engines, throttle 16 controls the engine speed progressively as
follows:
☞ Push throttle 16 upward (A).
➥ Engine speed is increased.
☞ Push throttle 16 down B.
➥ Engine speed is reduced.
