2.11 Main line circuit breaker
Location
The main line circuit breaker is located on the control panel.
Operation
In the off “O” position, the main line circuit breaker interrupts power from the
selector switch to the terminal lugs at the bottom of the generator panel. The circuit
breaker will also be tripped when the customer connection lug door is opened.
NOTICE: Before shutting down the generator or performing any service to the
generator unit, make sure the main line circuit breaker is in the off “O” position.
NOTICE: The convenience receptacles are not connected through the main line
circuit breaker, but are connected directly to the generator windings. As a result,
these receptacles are powered even with the main breaker in the off “O” position.
f To turn off power to receptacles, open the individual circuit breakers provided
for each.

WARNING
Possibility of electrocution! High voltage is present inside the control panel when
the generator is operating!
f Never open the control panel while the generator is operating.
