Chapter 7
Running PowerLine Methods
This chapter describes how to run a PowerLine method using the Operate Method mode.
The Operate Method mode executes the time-based tables that you created in Chapter 6,
Creating PowerLine Methods.
Before You Begin
This chapter assumes that you have:
Prepared your system (see Chapter 3, Preparing Your 600E System for Operation).
Set the operating parameters for all Waters PowerLine modules (see Chapter 4,
Setting PowerLine Controller Operating Parameters).
Created a method table (see Chapter 6, Creating PowerLine Methods).
If you have not performed these tasks, please take the time to do them now.
7.1 Using an Injector
The Waters 600E system supports three methods for injecting samples. The following
sections present programming instructions for each method and a description of how to
make injections using:
The Rheodyne 7725i manual injector
A PowerLine autoinjector (Waters 717plus Autosampler)
A non-PowerLine autoinjector
