208 Eluent Considerations
Eluents to Use
Materials of construction used in the 600E system are nonreactive with most acids, bases,
salts, and organic eluents.
The following list of eluents has been approved for use with the 600E system. These
include salts, acids and bases in concentrations up to 1 M (unless otherwise noted), and
organic eluents in concentrations of up to 100% (unless otherwise noted). Higher
concentrations could be used in many instances.
Information on the use of a specific mobile phase or concentration that is not listed in this
manual may be obtained by contacting your local Waters sales/service representative.
