9. Gently pull the right-hand side of the column heater toward you, and
then slide it rightward, to unseat the tab on the left-hand side of the
column heater from the instrument chassis.
10. Remove the leak sensor from its reservoir, grasping it by its serrations,
and pull upward on it, tilting it to the left-hand side.
Tip: If you cannot easily manipulate the leak sensor after removing it
from its reservoir, power-off the sample manager, and then detach the
connector from the front of the column heater (see page 115).
Caution: To avoid damaging the leak sensor, do not grasp it by the
ribbon cable.
