Cleaning the instrument’s exterior (all models)
Clean surfaces of the column heater, column manager, auxiliary column
manager, or column heater/cooler with only a soft, lint-free paper or cloth
dampened with water.
Observe these requirements when cleaning device surfaces:
Always ensure the electrical power to the device is interrupted.
Always use eye and hand protection during the cleaning process.
Apply the water to a clean cloth only, and then wipe the device.
Never spray or apply the water directly onto any device surface.
Warning: To prevent burn injuries, adjust the temperature set-point of
the column manager to a safe temperature (10 to 30 °C) and allow the
unit to attain this set-point temperature before handling components
within the column compartment. When the column manager is set at a
high temperature, all interior surfaces and components are hot.
