Solvent recommendations
The system is designed for reversed-phase chromatography and ACQUITY UPLC BEH column
chemistries. Waters evaluated the system’s reliability using traditional reversed-phase solvents.
Notes:
When implementing passive check valves on ACQUITY systems, Waters recommends that
you use MS Grade solvents.
You can use some normal-phase solvents on the system if you make the appropriate
modifications. See Other solvents and Hexane/THF Compatibility Kit.
This section lists solvents recommended for the system. Contact Waters Customer Service to
determine whether you can use solvents that do not appear in the list without adversely affecting
instrument or system performance.
