8 Hygienic reprocessing
5. With cables: Wrap a disposable cloth around the cable and
pull the cable through the cloth.
6. If soiling is still visible: Repeat the manual cleaning.
7. Wipe down the parts with a damp cloth in order to
remove cleaning agent residue.
8. Allow parts to dry fully at room temperature.
Result The parts are manually cleaned.
8.4 Wipe disinfecting parts
Requirement • The hygienic reprocessing is prepared (see "8.2 Preparing
hygienic reprocessing", page 150).
• The parts have been manually cleaned and are visibly clean
(see "8.3 Cleaning parts manually", page 151).
1. Refer to the cleaning and disinfection plan for approved parts,
approved agents and dosages (see "8.7 Cleaning and
disinfection plan", page 155).
2. Wipe disinfect parts (see "8.7 Cleaning and disinfection plan",
page 155).
When doing so, note:
• All surfaces must be wetted with disinfectant solution.
