5 Function check
5.3 Checking the cylinder brackets
1. Check the oxygen cylinder for firm fit.
When doing so, note:
• The latches on the cylinder brackets must not come open.
• The oxygen cylinder must not move.
2. If the oxygen cylinder moves: Adapt the tensioning force of the
cylinder brackets to the oxygen cylinder (see "4.4 Attaching
the oxygen cylinder to the portable unit", page 38).
3. If the latches cannot be opened or closed: Adapt the tensioning
force of the cylinder brackets to the oxygen cylinder
(see "4.4 Attaching the oxygen cylinder to the portable unit",
page 38).
4. Check the cylinder brackets for corrosion.
5. If the cylinder brackets show signs of corrosion:
Have the cylinder brackets replaced by
WEINMANN Emergency.
Result The cylinder brackets have been checked.
5.4 Checking the locking of the wall
mounting or ceiling mounting
1. Fasten the portable unit to the wall mounting or ceiling
mounting (see "6.1 Fastening the portable unit to a wall
mounting or ceiling mounting", page 90).
When doing so, note:
• The portable unit must sit securely in the wall mounting
or ceiling mounting.
• The red control pin of the catch cross-bar must be flush
with the top edge of the catch housing.
2. Grasp the handle with one hand.
