6. If the contents indicator of the pressure reducer displays
< 50 bar: Replace oxygen cylinder.
7. Close the oxygen cylinder by hand.
8. Monitor the needle on the contents indicator on the pressure
reducer for 1 minute:
If the position of the needle remains constant:
The system is free from leaks.
If the needle falls continuously:
The system has a leak.
9. If the system has a leak: Rectify leaks in the system
(see "5.10 Rectifying leaks in the system", page 88).
Result The system has been checked for leaks.
5.10 Rectifying leaks in the system
Requirement The valve of the oxygen cylinder is open.
1. Observe the instructions for use for devices and pressure
reducers.
2. Prepare a soapy solution using unperfumed soap.
3. Wet all screw connections and hose connections with
the soapy solution.
When doing so, note: If bubbles form, the system is leaky
at this point.
4. Close the oxygen cylinder by hand.
5. Switch on the device until the contents indicator on the oxygen
cylinder displays "0".
6. Switch off the device.

200 bar Full
100 bar Half full
<50bar Low
