8 Hygienic reprocessing
8.2 Intervals
8.3 Preparing hygienic reprocessing
Requirement • The device is switched off (see "4.6 Switching the device off",
page 65).
• The device is disconnected from the patient.
1. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
2. Remove accessories from the device.
3. Dismantle the reusable breathing circuit into its individual parts
(see "8.4 Disassembly of the reusable breathing circuit",
page 176).
4. If necessary: Dismantle the accessories into individual parts.
5. Dispose of all disposables correctly (see "13 Proper disposal",
page 230).
Result All parts have been prepared for hygienic reprocessing.
