8 Hygienic reprocessing
2. Place the parts in a washer and disinfector.
When doing so, note:
• Ensure compliance with the exposure time specified in the
cleaning and disinfection plan.
• Connect the hoses/tubes with the washer and disinfector.
• All parts and lumens must be completely flushed.
• The water must be able to run away.
3. Add cleaning agents as per the instructions for use for the
washer and disinfector.
4. If necessary: Add neutralizing agent as per the instructions for
use for the washer and disinfector.
5. Start machine reprocessing cycle according to the following
process, e.g., cycle 12 of the washer and disinfector
G 7836 CD from Miele.
6. Check the parts for residue and any remaining dirt.
7. If visible dirt remains: Repeat the machine cleaning and
disinfection.
Result The parts are machine cleaned and disinfected.
