6.2 Preparation
When using a dosage monitor
1. Remove the short connecting tube (3 m)
11 from the nasal cannula 12 and from
the connection of the bubble humidifier

2. Remove the long connecting tube (20 m)
7 from the oxygen connection 23 of the
dosage monitor and from the oxygen out-
let 5 of the OXYMAT 3.
3. Unscrew the sterile water tank from the
dosage monitor. For further preparation
of the sterile water tank please observe
the relevant operating instructions.
When using a flowmeter
1. Remove the long connecting tube 17 (10
m) from the connection 29 of the flowme-
ter.
2. Release the union nut 28 of the flowmeter
and disconnect the flowmeter from the
oxygen outlet of the OXYMAT 3.
Removal of coarse dust filter
Please detach the coarse dust filter 13 from the
service flap at the rear of the OXYMAT 3.
