6.4 Sterilisation of sterile water
tank
The sterile water tank can also be steam-steri-
lised or autoclaved. This is generally only nec-
essary when the device is to be used by more
than one patients (change in patients).
Detailed information about sterilisation can be
found in the operating instructions of the sterile
water tank.
6.5 Assembly
To assemble the system proceed in reverse or-
der as described under “4. Installation” on
page 84.
6.6 Change in patients
If the unit is to be utilized for another patient,
it must undergo a hygiene treatment before-
hand. This has to be carried out by the manu-
facturer Weinmann or a dealer.
The procedure used for the hygiene treatment
is described in the inspection sheet and the
service and repair instructions for OXYMAT 3.
